|
Pracownia Akustyczna was commissioned by The Marshal Office of Lower Silesia Voivodeship to design sound reinforcement system for the main building of Wroclaw Opera, a historic object, which is a jewel of a crown of Lower Silesia cultural buildings. As a part of sound reinforcement project, a complex stage, orchestra pit, audience, foyer and other areas operating system was created. Sound reinforcement project included:
It had been established from the start that it was going to be a state-of-the-art system. A sound reinforcement system was the first in Poland digital electroacoustic system, in which the analogue audio signals were used only on stage and inside the loudspeakers. Apart from those two instances, the audio signal were functioning in digital domain.
Sound reinforcement project also assumed precise calibration, which was achieved through two 64-channel loudspeaker processors that enabled to prepare independent signal for each loudspeaker. Such designed sound reinforcement system enables the optimum calibration for such demanding room acoustics as an opera house. Sound reinforcement project also included the wired and wireless microphone modules. As a part of sound reinforcement project, Pracownia Akustyczna has also designed acoustic adaptation of sound engineer booth. Sound reinforcement project by Pracownia Akustyczna gave solid basis for creating the electroacoustic system, which from the very beginning has gained high recognition in the branch, which can be seen,
