KCK, Kieleckie Centrum Kultury (Cultural Center) – intercom

 

Pracownia Akustyczna was in charge of creating bidding documentation of the stage management system. The basic subsystem designed was the intercom system, often referred to as intercom.
Next to the digital intercom the following subsystems were designed:

  • announcements broadcasting - working directly with the intercom,
  • cue lights,
  • "silence" banners,
  • digital timers,
  • video monitoring and transmission.

The entire intercom has been divided into wired intercom - stationary and wireless intercom, which enables 8 hours of battery life on portable intercom stations, belt packs.

Main intercom elements include:

  1. Digital intercom matrix responsible for setting up connections between intercom stations and announcement broadcasting to zones.
  2. Intercom stations allowing: conversations, announcements broadcasting, using "silence" banners, stage monitoring.

Intercom stations have been provided in the following functional destinations:

  • stage management desk,
  • technical director,
  • director,
  • sound technician,
  • lighting technician,
  • grid service controller.

Intercom stations are equipped in headphone inputs and LCD screen, informing about functions of all buttons.

The following groups of the technical staff have been equipped in the wireless intercom stations:

  • sound technicians,
  • lighting technicians,
  • mechanics,

a spare intercom station set for different purposes have also been provided.

Intercom is a useful technical tool in such buildings as well as in all places where the synchronous work of many people in different areas is required.
